The main reason for the failure is due to driver incompatibilities.

That's why I always recommend people install a new service pack after a fresh reformat and then install their drivers.

Anyways, what wireless adapter is it? If your notebook distributor doesn't have an up-to-date one, then try the manufacturer (ex: Intel, Broadcom).

Perform a System Restore to a point in time when all was working well. Probably the point just before your SP3 install. I had to do the same with a video problem.

    Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore

You can also get to System Restore from:

Start>Help and Support and from the Pick a Task catagory, System Restore

Yeah this sucks big time, just got it through auto update on my fujitsu 7010. I now can't access any admin accounts and my system restore is out of reach. my accounts are all limited now and all my pst files are trashed. i can't get my emails on my laptop.
Mac is starting to look good after all.

Hiding! I didn't trust Billy Gates to get it right and thought that maybe they will have fixed most of the bugs by now so I allowed it through. BIG MISTAKE.
