Hi There - I am wanting to secure Windows XP, so no one can break my login, as I know its very easy for anyone clued up with computers to bypass the windows XP password, if for example my laptop was stolen.

Been looking at True Crypt and a little uneasy about doing the entire system encrypt, in case something goes wrong, or gets corrupt, as say for example i encrypt the system and I can't log in, or use the emergency cd, how would I reformat or erase the encrypted hard drive, so i can reinstall windows?

Is there any other way of securing the login to windows xp?
