Sometimes when I fullscreen a program like media player or even a website, my screen will go blank and i have no choice but to hold down the power button to restart. Anyone know what I can do regarding this?

Do you have all the latest driver updates? Has this always happened?

No this started happening a couple months ago.
I remember I uninstalled some things from my laptop and then my laptop would no long display, so I had to hook it up to an external monitor and do a systen restore. Pretty much after that as far as I can remember this started to happen. I don't think I have the latest drives for my graphics card, I have the Ati Radeon 1100 which is just terrible thank god i'm getting a new laptop in the summer.

I think something might have happened to one of the drivers. I would suggest going through and updating them, however, you're getting a new computer soon so why bother?
