    Hi

    I bought a Samsung ultrabook last week. I'm still in the process of transferring my files onto it, however I just tried to turn it on and instead of booting up to my windows 8 home page, it goes to 'boot menu.' There are two options:

    1.SATA HDD:: Hitachi HTS545050A7E380
    2. Windows Boot Menu

    If I try either of these it just loops back to the same screen again.

    If I tab across to App Menu, I can enter setup, but I have no idea what to do in there!

    Any words of wisdom would be very much appreciated!

    Thanks

    Set the boot device priority in BIOS as your hard drive and see if it still loops (unless your HDD is already set as the foremost boot option). It could be that there is something wrong with the bootmgr on the hard drive.
