    Restore after virus attack

    strong virus stopped my wifi,audio,usb.
    i made successful restore but only audio is recovered ,wifi needed to re-install....usb did not recover.
    when i make restart wifi & Audio stop again.
    :confused:

    Yep, unless you can pinpoint when you got the virus and have a clean system image on an external hard drive then a clean install might be your only hope. Even then you might not get back to a clean system.

    i go to device manager and make update software of each unknown device (intel usb controller....) and worked.......'
    but i want fix this problem to not repeat again after restart of laptop!

    Like I said...that virus did a pretty good number on your system. You might as well reinstall the OS and save yourself the trouble of trying to fix it now.

    after a virus attack, the only sensible thing to do is install from scratch or you have a known clean image.

    you are taking the risk of exposing your daily usage of the computer to unknown virus (think key logger that may capture your online bank info).

    Actually after reading it was not a virus.....
    it was program called irecover to restore my ipod after crash....
    most of ppl used it under w7 it crash their USB .......it should be used under XP only.
    This is the name of this program (( libusb-win32-filter-bin-0.1.12.2.exe ))
