    Renaming music copyed FROM an ipod?

    Ok so this is mainly aimed at people who know that copying music FROM your ipod to your computer is pretty much the only way get back if it was lost on your computer and you have not therwise backed it up. When you do copy the music from your ipod it is all in 3 letter names. The only way to see what they are is to bring them into itunes.

    Is there any way to change those 3 letter file names to those itunes sees them as without going through each one?

    in the advanced tab in preferences, select keep itunes music folder organized and it will change the names back to what they were.
