    Reliable program that checks for bad drivers?

    Preferably something free but willing to pay too.
    I cannot find the cause of my crackling/popping/intermittently-dropping-out, audio.

    I noticed your other thread - free Drive Sweeper can still be had here : Driver Sweeper Download 3.2.0 (I just downloaded and updated mine) - GR8 program but read instructions first.
    Also if you are running Realtek sound driver try removing it and using default windows drivers.

    Could you tell us at least what system you have with that someone can at least properly address your problems? Just looking for drivers and not know what make and model your talking about is grabbing at straws at this point in time? And you sure your speakers aren't going bad?

    I don't have anything to recommend for advising you on bad drivers specifically, but Revo is good about uninstalling them. You still have to do the grunt work when it comes to troubleshooting which driver is giving you problems though.

    You can poke around here for some feedback on some utilities if you like.
