    Hello,

I have a major problem, and my friends think that re-formating my hard drive will fix it. I have a dell, so they gave me two disks, one which is a windows XP reinstall CD, and the other Inpiron Software. I was wondering which one to use durring my reforamating. Also, i have Battlefield 2142, and other games that require CD keys, will those games be lost, or with the CD key be able to be put back in after i uninstall? thanks

The XP Reinstall CD. The Inspiron Software disc are the drivers you install after installing XP.

Everything currently on your drive will be gone after the reinstall. Back up anything important before starting.

Yup. You'll have to reinstall all your applications and games.
