ok on my desktop WindowsXP home

i use NOD32 as my Antivirus app
    and SYGATE as my firewall

on my Vista Home premium on my lappy

i use NOD32 (i verified on their site the new version works w/ vista)

but i have just vista's firewall turned on ..and windows defender turned off

what do u suggest i do about my firewall...leave it how i have it? do u recommend a vista compatible app i should use?

    is windows defender important?

my current vista set.up (vista firewall, defender and avast): free and "pretty much" secure, have not heard ptherwise yet - & once a week, scanning with Ad.Aware

windows defender on vista? - it does the job and is un.intrusive, until something better coming along under vista

    cheers ...
