I am getting a new laptop, and rather than compromise on certain things like keyboard layout, I'd like to re-map some FN+key combinations.

For example, the FN+Right Arrow on my E6520 is mapped to keyboard backlighting. I'd like to remap it to END (which also has it's own dedicated button), and the FUN+Left Arrow to HOME.

Is this possible? Ideally something that affects the laptop as a whole, not just the OS, would be great.

    Thanks!

Usually those fn keys are hard coded to bios and don't send a code that you can recreate.

Thanks. Not 100% sure if they'll be able to remap FN keys, but I'll try.

Me too but try to use advanced functions where it scans the code of what you pressed.
