    Hi all,

So a few weeks ago I tried to have a VPN client work on my laptop. Problem is, I got Vista 64, which won't support that very useful software (because of problems with the Remote Connection Manager)that would allow me to work from home

Anyway... in a moment of frustration I tried to do some stuff in the registry and played a bit with the rasman entry. Now, from time to time, I'll get a host service error when I boot up and it seems that the problem resides in the rasman.dll.(I guess I earned it, didn't I?)

I'm looking for a quick fix here (no restore and no I won't change my OS so forget about those two advices). I've looked over the net and it seems that most registry repair software won't support the 64 bit version of Vista.

I was also playing around with the idea of simply replacing the dll with one that I found on the net, but I'm skeptic about it trustworthiness.

So, does anyone has a quick fix idea that I don't know of? I'm no techie so it is probable that some easy fix that I don't know of exist, or it could only be me being naive an optimistic...
