Sometimes an email article I receive or a blog I view online will have question marks or other symbols where quotation marks should be. Is there a font or type of font package I need to download to view these symbols properly?

    Thanks.

In your browser go to View>Encoding and select Western European (ISO) or something similar.

Thanks. I checked encoding and Western European (ISO) was selected. I tried several others and still had the problem. I'm stumped.

http://www.crosswalk.com/devotionals/desiringgod/. See, for instance, the word "fantasies" in the fourth paragraph. The quotation marks show up as question marks on my display.

    Thanks.

Same thing happening on my Mac. It's probably the website's fault.

Instead of selecting "Western (ISO)", try selecting "Western (Windows-1252)".

Although, on this particular page, I think they were just published as question marks, and there's nothing you can do on the display end.

Yes. If you look in the source, they were published as question marks, which is probably an issue with their article submission engine doing some kind of character set translation. Nothing wrong on your end, Broadus ;)
