    Sorry if this was answered somewhere I originally bought Windows Vista Home Premium full version, I Then bought the upgrade to windows Vista Ultimate to get the extra features available, can i re-use my Premium on another machine at home or do i have to buy another licence seeing as my premium key is no longer in use??

    No it should not work but there's no harm in trying. Microsoft probably wants you to purchase another license.

    No, your not supposed to have both at the same time, the upgrade overrides your previous license.

    But it will work.

    You may have to do certain special install methods tho.

    I would tell you that's a grey area since you paid for both V.P. and V.U., you could call MS and ask them. What you really paid for was the key to unlock V.U. from your original DVD that's all.

    If you are an Xbox 360 owner and have an Xbox Live account you know full well about micro transactions. Most Xbox 360 games have locked features on the disk that only become available when you pay for it.

    I'll bet you $20 that both keys would probably activate on your system even if MS told you otherwise. :cool:
