This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Question before I upgrade to Vista SP1

    I've made a backup of my files, ran virus and spyware scans, updated all drivers, etc. but I have a whole bunch of files in my internet download manager queue. Will upgrading to SP1 delete all these files I have queued?

    No. SP1 only updates ,it doesn`t replace.
    It didn`t affect any of my downloads.
