    Hi!
I want to ask 2 questions about windows 7
1, If I order the product on Amazon or Newegg with free shipping, does the order mean I can both download and have the installation CS shipped or the order is just for the shipment of the CD?
2, Will it have the windows 7 sticker with the CD?
3, At the time the product is released, I'm not in US. I will be in Asia. Will I be able to download the product? I'm asking this question due to the fear of IP address restriction.
    Thanks and have great holiday!

Your order is for the shipment of the CD. Making W7 available for download has nothing to do with Amazon.

Sure, it would make it pretty.

I am sure that you can download if MS makes it available. The question is what good does it do if you don't have the license key in hand?

    cheers ...

In Europe we are supposed to be getting the full version on pre-order fro £49, not the upgrade , my question is the 64bit version on the DVD.

Thanks for the answer, since MS said that Windows 7 would be available to download, so when I'm done downloading, how can activate the product?

"How will I get the product?

If you pre-order through a retailer they will specify how you can get the software. If you pre-order through the Microsoft Store you will have the option to either download and/or receive a physical copy."

The quote above is from MS FAQ

If you order from Microsoft and choose to download, you will get your key in an email when the download is available, along with a link to the download. There is an option to purchase the physical product for an additional fee.

    Thanks for the answer
I know that, but when I order both download + ship, will I have to wait until the product arrive in order to activate the download, or will get the key along with the download.
    Thanks

If you ordered from the Microsoft store, perhaps you might call them to ask this question. http://store.microsoft.com/help/Contact-Us

You will get the key in the email, regardless if you also bought the backup media.
