I was wondering, if I get windows pro on my laptop, will I have powerpoint use forever or just a limited time trial ?

Few people need XP Pro. As for PowerPoint, that comes with Office, not XP. So yes, you need something other than Office Basic to get PowerPoint.

Powerpoint comes with Microsoft Office (Professional or Small Business versions), not the operating system. Some laptops do come with trial versions of the software, but you need to buy it if you want to keep it on your system.

So when the enter the key found on your disk shows up can I use Kazaa and get the full key version from it and put it in and use powerpoint forever??? When I went to staples and checked out the R3000T, I went to programs, then micro office and pressed powerpoint but a "input key" screen came up.....................
