    Hello,

I uninstalled and installed some programs today and later deleted some un-needed folders manually from start menu.
Did a restart later on and after that I saw that my start menu is just empty. Nothing there anymore.

Any ideas how to restore it?

    Thanks for help

Maybe, but I'd like to restore the Accessories menu with System Tools and all. Adding the other programs aint a problem.

If there's no other way to fix this then maybe somebody can compress their Accessories menu and put it up somewhere. So I could just download it and decompress to get those shortcuts back.

If somebody could only send me their C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs folder without their personal programs shortcuts and Startup folder, it would be all ok again.

Have you tried going to the start menu properties and reset the settings , i.e. "use default settings"?

switch to classic start menu then change it back?

Tried both. The shortcuts are deleted. Use Default settings only switches the view back to default but it's not re-making the shortcuts.
Switching to Classic view gives me the same result.
It's really strange how the shortcuts and all menus vanished because I didn't delete them by myself.

What's Priit, on top of your start menu. And the left column says "(empty)"?

Priit is my username. When I view All Programs from Start menu then it shows me that the menu is empty. No Accessiories, no Maintenance, no Startup, no Programs, nothing.
