I wanted to do an auto login at startup, so I used netplwiz. However, I changed my permission from HomeGroup to Users. Now everytime a UAC prompt comes up, it wants me to insert a smartcard.

I have no option of entering a password or anything else. I tried in Safe Mode and it just grays out the 'Yes' option. I'm using a Dell Latitude E6400, which is having trouble adjusting to Windows 7.

    Can anyone help?

You might want to try re-installing W7.

    cheers ...
