I have a disk with Office XP on it.
I keep inserting the DVD into the drive and all the laptop will do is pull open the contents of the folder, which shows the ISO file. I double-click on the ISO file and it does nothing.
-1- I know the disc works as I've used it before
-2- Aren't ISO files supposed to open/install automatically as soon as the PC reads them?
Any suggestions?
Thank you.

lol
most likely you a) have a pirated copy and b) don't know how to use it
hint: iso files are archived files, such as rar and zip files.. use isobuster to open/unpack them.. then install from there
and next time burn the cd correctly -
most cd burning softwares left you load iso directly or you can get mount it on a virtual drive and install it like that

i'm not a pro!!! ;-( sorry.
so, isobuster looks like it's extracting the .iso file and saving it as .iso.exe -- is this right??
thank you. -
i am positive the thing worked before just fine previously. i used it like 1 yr ago with no prob at all. not sure what the deal is this time around.

If you have an image .iso you go to nero and burn the image or if you have the alcohol 120% installed emule the image and isntall it.

Or just stop pirating and go to OpenOffice.org and get a real, free office suite. It'll be easier to use, I promise.
