    Hi there

I'm trying to install the latest version of Adobe Reader but it gets to near the end of the install and then generates and error 1935?

This is the exact message it gives in the popup window - Error 1935.An error occurred during the installation of assembly
    'Microsoft.VC80.CRT,version="8.0.50727.163",type="win32",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",processorArchitecture="x86".

Does anyone know how I can cure this, I've got no adobe reader now as it uninstalls the previous version.

Thanks in advance for any help/advice :)

    a tip from the net
    For Error 1935:

Open a command prompt from the start menu as an administrator
    Type in:
    fsutil resource setautoreset true C:\
    Restart and try again.

    cheers ...

    you want Foxit Reader instead.

Adobe Reader is bloated and "phones home" all the time. Along with iTunes, it's the "new realplayer"

Yep as others have suggested it's time to ditch Adobe Reader. Go with the free Foxit Reader.

Cool thanks for that, I did the fsutil thing and it cured it, I tried that earlier on today but it just wouldn't have it.

    Thanks for the advice :)
