I am trying to set it up so a few users can have a shortcut to the "fax inbox" on our exchange server.

Clients are running Outlook 2007 on Windows 7
    Server is Exchange 07
    DC is Server 2008

It was working on Windows XP and Outlook 2007, all I had to do was copy the shortcut from the server (we had a shortcut stored there) onto their desktop and it worked fine without problems.

I understand that in Outlook 2007, Microsoft disabled this feature. Whatever was done to these Win XP / Outlook 07 installations was done before I was here ... so not really sure what was done to get this working on Outlook 2007.

So, I was unable to get it working on User A computer. What I did on that one was add a profile to the Mail in control panel (separate profile), logged into outlook under that profile and then it worked.

There is a blank password for our fax inbox ...

Now the problem I'm having ...
    • If I click on the shortcut on another one of the windows machines I get "Outlook cannot find the specified folder"
    • Trying to log in with blank password such as I did on User 1 computer does not work, and outlook automatically closes itself.

Any suggestions as to what I can do ... ?

    Thanks~
