I was busy doing a marketing presentation using microsoft powerpoint ribbon office. When I reached like 100 slides, I have been encountering errors and it asks for me to quit my current work and restart powerpoint again with all my slides recovered. After that, I can normally create slides again but will repeat after two to three slide additions to my current 110+ slides. Is this normal? Thanks in advance :)

I've done presentations with 200+ slides, sounds like you have a corrupt file. Recommend copy all the slides (slide sorter view) and paste into a new presentation and then save as a new name and see if that solves your issue. I've done this in the past when getting same message as your receiving - usually clears it up. Does your file have large pictures inserted, hyperlinked slides or links to other files?

Yeah, The max slides is definitely over 100. Also make sure you aren't getting memory errors.
