I originially had a Toshiba, and loved all the options I had for my power manegment... I could set it to turn down my screen brightness when on battery mode, and at what % of the battery life, things like that. Is there one that will work /w my Compaq Presario V2312US or just a general one other then MS crappy one?

Centrino Hardware Control is one place to start. I don't think it has display controls though.

Would that work with a AMD Turion64 though?
