Where are the best place to look for drivers? I have used some paid programs to do a scan, but I refuse to pay $29.99 for something that should be free.

    Thanks

Drivers for what? Get them from either your notebook manufacturer or from the individual component manufacturers.

the problem is that I have a Mac and I am using boot camp right now. 4 or 5 of my drivers are outdated and vista warned me to update. I tried the update feature in Vista and nothing.

Why update if the ones you have works. Updates might only have minor improvements. I agree the best way is to go the the manufacturers sites for updates or computer branded web site. Vista usually finds recent updates automatically and asks if you want to install them.

Besides Windows Update, you can see if Apple has them available for Download somewhere. Then there's the component manufacturers.

Are you sure it was actually Vista warning you to update, rather than one of those programs that wants you to pay $29.99? Because Vista's never warned me to update, except when it found a newer version on Windows Update and offered to download it for me.
