This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Picked up strange spyware--help

    I've done an AVG scan and Norton, neither can seem to find the culprit! A blinking yellow exclamation with a link to an IE website for a spy ware removal product. I also get random IE ad pop ups. Just when I thought I was invincible! Has anyone come across this type of bug? FYI I use ff2 with script blocker which is even stranger in its infiltration of IE. Anyone know any good free spy ware or tips to remove this thing? Thanks.
