    I don't use it. I use Gimp 2.0 ... it's free [ :D]. But after all I just do minor picture editing.

Photoshop is great! Very powerfull program. I can only scratch the surface with the features that I know. It's fun to follow tutorials. I use it mostly to remove things from pictures that I don't like, such as; Power lines, zits, red-eye, and anything else that you don't want in the pic.

Look at the Photoshop section of Tutorialized.com. That's what I did.

My Photoshop CS trial ran out, so I don't really do any image editing. I may get Gimp sometime, though.

If its not on Adobe's site, I'd bet that they don't have a trial.

    Try this site:
    http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/

Covers Photoshop Elements very well (and PS Elements covers just about everything PS does, for 1/7th the price).

Since I've already had the CS trial, do you think I could use the CS2 trial without any conflicts?

I never really used any of the stuff that CS did. I saw on Tech TV once this guy changing the color of someone's shirt and it looked really good.

I wish I knew how to do some of that stuff.

def don't download CS2 for free using a bittorrent client. That would be totally illegal, its horrible having to get free software anyways. I like paying for software. def don't go here http://dessent.net/btfaq/ . i definitly don't recommend it.

I'm curious as an aside. For those using Photoshop (or Photoshop CS) ...with Inspiron 9300.

Do you think it makes a difference between the 2 screens , and/or the 6800 vs other video card?

    Thanks

I used Photoshop 7.0 on my Toshiba Satellite A50.
But now, if I want to start Photoshop, I only see the Startup screen, and then it's gone.. I don't know what the problem is.

Does anyone know how I could solve this?

does anybody know any shortcuts for color filing a particular color? I know you can use F5 to open up the "fill" box, but I was hoping to find a way to auto-fill images with preselected colors (I just need green, red, and blue) without constantly going back and forth in menus etc - that's what takes up most of my time (when it really should be creating a clear, crisp image).

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
