When I install Windows 10 and configure it to my liking eliminating all the privacy breaching stuff, personalize my settings, etc. Before installing any drivers or getting online, I like to create a system image so that in the future if I wanted to go to a clean state, it would take me no longer than 60 seconds to restore back to the perfect image I had created.

Now, before creating the image, I also like to have Windows activated but what I noticed in Windows 10 Build 10586 is that the phone activation has disappeared from the activation menu, I only get a button that says connect to the internet which when clicked, it juts tries to connect to the internet and fails since I didn't connect to the internet yet and I don't want to otherwise Windows Update will install all the drivers it can find which I don't want.

To launch the phone activation manually, simply press the Windows + X key then choose Command Prompt (Admin)

Now type the following and hit enter to get the phone activation screen and follow the steps to call Micro$h4ft after choosing your country.

    Code:
    slui 4

    toughasnails and myx like this.

You should (if you haven't done this already) add this piece of information to the main Clean Install thread, it's pretty useful. You could also update the thread with information from latest win10 build, it differs a bit from previous build, as you must have noticed.
