    Hi Everyone,

I want to do a clean install of Vista and add my programs. I then want to create a recovery partition and then use a backup app to make an image of my computer for me to recover if something goes wrong down the line.

I've read about Norton's Partition Magic and Ghost but I was hoping there's a GPL version of each of these that's just as good since I only hope to have to do this once.

Any suggestions? I've found GParted for the partition manager through this forum but can't find anything equivalent for Ghost.
