This is Firefox on Steroids! the fastest browser I've ever used and all Firefox addons can be installed seamlessly

Its interface is a bit better than Firefox IMHO

Why settle for a basic build of your Firefox browser on Windows Operating Systems when you can have one that performs 25% faster? Mozilla does not provide optimized browser packages for Windows, while many Linux ("from scratch") users get the advantage of a browser built specifically for their system. That needs to change! So, here is the Pale Moon project: Custom-built and optimized Firefox browsers for Windows Operating Systems. Make sure to get the most speed out of your browser!

Of course, getting a faster browser is not just about optimizing the compilation process (building a program from its source code), but also about carefully choosing features and how to choose the best setup. This means that this browser, however extremely close to Firefox, does not have all the functions that Firefox has. A few, carefully selected, features have been disabled that are not in high demand, and that do not interfere with the way web pages are displayed or function; all to maximize speed and efficiency of the browser. Please see the page with technical details to learn exactly what the browser supports, and what it doesn't support. In short, if you need accessibility features or parental controls, then please visit the Firefox homepage and get the official, non-optimized build.

Thanks for the reminder to update, I had updates disabled in options ... I also really like this browser. I use ad-block and no script as my only ad ons so far. Now if I could just get that findbar up to the top of the screen

How much security does this have in comparison to FF though? If they can't handle security holes or fixes that will make this browser a bad choice to have though? Just a new browser isn't just a pretty face it also has to do well in security beside browsing. And for ad block I just use a hosts edits from two sites that does very good in blocking redirects and pops without having to worry about other software doing the job when the Windows Hosts edits works even better. Those ad-block and no scripts from my experience tend to also block or looses cookies that cause glitches or bad links. That is why the Hosts edit route is way better then those software. I am not concern with FF look alike if they can't be unique then it's not worth going to though. That is way to many toolbars asking for trouble down the line toolbars are double edge swords. FF with the looks more professional and a more clean look.

It's as secure as Firefox is. They have a great online forum and security patches are released regularly, unlike other Firefox alternatives!

With Pale Moon, you get all the Firefox goodies + better interface + more speed

My current FF23 has a clean interface and no toolbars with limited plugins that are needed and works just fine. I think speed depends alot on your bandwidth as well plus I edit my Hosts file to block most spammer and pop so that already speeds my browsing before FF even starts. My plugins only are core needed parts not just cause I like to use it like flash shockwave java Acrobat office those main one not fancy plugins just utilitarian look.
