Hello, i just wanna overclock my CPU on laptop, dont ask why, dont tell me that its not worth it, dont talk about heat lol cause all that just annoys, its not my first laptop and i know that overclocking gives a lot of performance to the laptop.

    ANYWAY:
i have custom modded bios and i set already some settings to get SETFSB to work, (at first it froze my laptop, now i manage to get sliders to work, just cant set anything).
My CPU is T6600 2.2ghz Core 2 Duo. it is possible to oc atleast 2,5ghz (saw also 3ghz done pretty stable).

THE ISSUE: the sliders on SETFSB move but after i hit SET, it constantly comes back at where it was. i have no idea whats the problem :/

here is video to show what im talking about:

(sorry u cant see the mouse, but u get the picture..)

and here is my bios screenshots with all the available usable options i have here. i took those in hope u guys will give me advises what to tweak to get SETFSB to work.

You need to find what PLL (clock generator) is on the motherboard. Once that is found, you can choose that PLL in SetFSB. Then it will work when you hit set.

My guess is that your PLL is ICS9LPRS365B - Select that and than retry.

EDIT: Didn't realize that you had it set on the right PLL. In that case your board may have a differant PLL. Have you tried any of the other PLLs? That may help. You may need the paid version of SetFSB.

Another option is to email Abo, the SetFSB Author. The paid version I think is around $5 and he's a great guy. I've emailed him back and forth a bit. And it's for life so if you buy once and reinstall and need a new registration he will provide it.

Must have gone up since I got it. Looks like he's done a lot of support work to add a lot of newer plls lately

well a 10$ is kinda to much to me when i dont see a real big chance that any of those plls will work for me :/ since i dint found on his website any other officially supported pll for my laptop in the list.
