    I started getting this error.

"The Text Formatting Command is not available. It may not be installed correctly. Please install outlook again"

Anyway to fix this without reinstalling?

Probably not, it is telling you what is wrong...the feature may not be installed. The first thing I would try is a Detect and Repair from the Help menu in an Office program (Word, Outlook, Excel). Granted this is only for 2003. In 2007 it's called "Office Diagnostics".

If that doesn't work, go into Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel, click on the Office listing, and choose Change. Select something like "Add or remove features" and select the feature you're looking for.

IF you didn't do a complete install, this would account for that feature not being installed, and it would also prevent you from adding the feature without having an Office disc handy. Do you have your Office disc?

    ^Nice job finding the KB!

As for the OP, if you could post your Windows, Internet Explorer, and Office versions (with Service Pack info) that would be very helpfu.
