Guys I have a new sony Z and love it except for the way outlook takes for ever to open or delete my emails.
I am using mobileme and everything sync's great but when an email arrives it takes forever to open the email and vise versa when I want to delete it it also takes forever to delete it (I admit I dont have a super fast broadband connection)
Anyway my work laptop has super fast email as it is not kept on a server with a .pst file.
How can i do the same with either mobileme or gmail (I have a gmail account as well
I have heard that a pop email account would work better but i dont know about how to do that.
I also have a iPhone and like to see my emails on that as well
    Thanks

    Neil

You may be better off going with the IMAP option. Specifically, with reference to Gmail, under either Labs or Settings (I think it is Labs), you should enable Advanced IMAP settings and then use that to configure your Outlook.

I like the IMAP function but it doesn't work as well in outlook the same way it works with Mac Mail

Hmmm...surprising! I thought MS fixed that in Outlook 2010. Maybe use Thunderbird 3.1 then? I use it and it works just fine.

Ha, I second the Thunderbird suggestion. Compared to Outlook, it positively flies with a Gmail IMAP sync.
