This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Is this similar to what dial-up providers like AOL and MSN offer-you know, those web "accelerators"?

    I esp. hated AOL's system-they compress the images in the integrated IE browser into their proprietary .art file format, making them look like fuzzy, smeared crap. Also, this doesn't change things like file download speeds which remain dog slow!

    opera is extremely underated as a browser. i have used chrome firefox ie7 8 and opera and they all crash except opera :D

    but opera 10 ftw (it rhymes) yay
