I have Win 7 x64 Pro and just installed the driver for the Dell 375 Bluetooth 3.0 for my laptop (sig). However, when I right-click the tray icon and Open Settings, it cannot open the settings. I cannot discover any devices either. How can I change the settings?

Does the bluetooth icon have any red in the Icon. Can you find the bluetooth card in device manager and see if it is listed and working correctly according to what is listed in its properties. Is there a selection somewhere besides the mechanical wireless switch to enable/disable bluetooth besides the mechanical switch that turns all your radios on. Have you tried uninstalling the driver in device manager and rebooting the computer to see if windows 7 can fix the problem.

Thanks. Device Manager shows everything as normal and BT is not disabled anywhere. I've removed it and Win7 does not find the drivers

Do you know if your card can use the Widcomm or Broadcom software. Try to update at the Broadcom site. It will work or not work. You may be able to get help from Dell on this also. I recently Updated my Sony Vaio from XP Pro to 7 Ultimate. The Microsoft bluetooth stack was not compatible with some of my old bluetooth hardware. I took the Widcomm driver from my XP Pro disk and made it work on my new setup.

Thanks, tried that link and the program hangs when looking for my bluetooth device. I checked Device Manager and I have a Dell 375 and Microsoft BT Enumerator under Bluetooth Radios and 2 bluetooth things under Network Adapters, so I should have the hardware right?

Also, when I remove the Dell BT drivers, Windows still has a BT icon in the tray but this time, it has options for file transfer (send and receive) in the context menu as well. Open Settings still does not work and Device Manager shows Hands Free BT Audio and BT Remote as problematic.

You also posted about where to find a driver. Did you attempt to use the other driver suggested to you. I would try this out to see if it helps.
