right in reinstalled vista today going from 32bit to 64bit, and from what i understand is you are meant to reinstall the games as they will not work as i have reinstalled vista but as i was removing them i accidently clicked on one and managed to get into the game and everything - is this meant to happen? should i still reinstall them as they do not appear my programs list

could this have soemthing to do with the fact that i have a control panel inside my control panel?

Are they on a separate drive to your vista installation. (What games are they).

yes they are a different drive, i tried COD4, FM2008 and W: ET all three worked. should i just remove them and reinstall anyway as they do not appear on the programs list.

some of my old programs still work as well i tried both Rainlender2 and rainmeter both which have not been installed on vista64bit but were on my 32bit and theywork as well

    any idea whats going on?
    should this be happening?

most probably because the game is just extracted from the installer, without needing extra registry, so it just can work.
disadvantage only is you don't have it on the program list

best is to reinstall them, cause we don't know at what point, maybe it need something that is located on the system which should be copied while installing and error may occured while gaming.
