Office Home & Student 2007 is $150 @ my local Bestbuys, Circuitcities, etc.

I thought I once read that you can get a discount based off of being a student (perhaps a university student)?...

Has anyone else heard about this/know anything about it? I'm a bit broke and trying to save after my Inspiron purchase, and OpenOffice is not cutting it for me!

    Thanks in advance!

You can get a discount, but your university has to have an agreement with MS to get it. Typically a small university-run or endorsed shop would have it for sale for around $30-50. Purdue has Office Enterprise 2007 for $30 or $35.

I just had a thought...get on eBay and look up Office 2003. It is almost as good (some like it better) and it should be much cheaper now.
