This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Office 2004 for osx

    I bought it yesterday and installed it.

    So far I like it more than office 2003, however it seems to take rather long time to load, cosider the macbook's processing powers.

    It is not a Universal Binary, it's compiled for PPC and runs through Rosetta, that's why it takes so long. After you load it once it stays cached (if you have enough memory) and it gets quicker.
