A strange problem has occurred. I use Windows 7 Home Premium and IE9. I suddenly found that when opening folders in favourites the scroll would not stop where selected and the whole favourites screen rolled back to the top. I then found that any programme where there is a box with scrolling alternatives it keeps rolling to the top. For example if wanting to open a hard drive and given a box with say drives A to F individually, on scrolling down to F, the box automatically rolls back to A. Now I open VLC player and none of the menus will stay on the screen and flicker and disappear. Very frustrating. I have downloaded the newest video drivers and tried a separate mouse. Also tried system restore to no avail. Any ideas would be welcome?
