I was looking at the post you desktop thread, and noticed a lot of people have ObjectDock. I just downloaded it and really like it. I was wondering where i can get custom icons for it though. And if i have an icon already, but it doesnt look good in object dock, how can i make it look better? Oh, and i think it would be cool to post pictures of your objectdock to see what others are doing.

There's a site called wincustomize where people have submitted massive amounts of custom icons. If you go into the Configure Dock window, there should be a button that says "Find more icons at wincustomize.com!" or something like that.

If you want to make your own icon, make sure to make it high resolution, or else it will look fuzzy if you use the zoom feature.

Might I also suggest the stacks docklet? :) http://www.aqua-soft.org/board/showthread.php?t=46859

But what I'm really interested in is your wallpaper... that's really cool. Did you make it yourself or where did you get it?

And save it as .png so you get transparency in the blank areas instead of white space.

personally, i find rocketdock better because it uses far less system resources. but i think objectdock has a feature in the dock settings to get custom icons on it.

I tried them both and preferred RocketDock. Almost all the themes and icons for one work on the other.

    See also this thread.

Although tonight I reinstalled ObjectDock and switched over to it. I will just keep them both installed for awhile and activate the one I want to use as the mood strikes me.

OK, I am a flip-flopper. I now have ObjectDock installed and have uninstalled RocketDock.

ObjectDock simply allows more control over the configuration.

Noodles, Can you link me or post the firefox icon? It does look wicked compared to the standard icon. Too lazy to look for it.

I also need a hi-res icon for HWmonitor. I could replace it with a different temp icon but id rather stay original
