This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Anyone getting a memory leak after installing No script? I have version 1.6.8 of NoScript and I have noticed a nasty memory leak. My firefox goes from 300K to 800K over the course of a day.

    though it has been known (documented) that many extensions used in FF2 have caused massive memory leaks, there is always some work around.

    review this, it might assist you in working around the issue by tweaking whatever problematic addon ur r using:

    I've been using 2...14 w/ NoScript for a while, memory stays around 200k.

    I just uninstalled my addons and reinstalled them again. 5 hours running and it's not bloated to 500K yet, so this is a good sign.
