for some reason in the explorer navigation window, everything is under the desktop, I don't remember it being like this before on home premium...when I collapse "desktop" on the pane, everything is gone with it.

Also I used a script to remove the library feature, yet Include in library is still displayed up there...

you messed up your libraries / windows registry

format again and don't mess with the OS with 3rd party stuff

    noooooooooooooooooooo any other options/ideas?

EDIT: I restored the libary feature with the included script. but still everything is listed under desktop, I dont think its related to this. Also I got the "include in libarary button to vanish with a regedit.

What's the script you used? Chances are, that's what messed with your user folder locations.

EDIT: Just saw your edit. You can try using System Restore and see if that'll fix your issues.

just fixed the problem... I clicked on folder and search options then unchecked the two navigation pane options. Wow that was scary. I would hate doing a fresh install, so lazy right now :D sorry for posting this topic without working harder on the problem.

    Don't listen to this.

Its yours, do what you want. If its working still then live with it if you don't want to format. I'm sure removing 3rd party stuff then start fresh figure what it did to windows.
