Yay, you can finally put it on the bottom of the screen and it's available for XP. I'll have to try it out again soon

Cool, but their website is broke. Delldock.com won't load for me.
-
The site must be fixed - I just downloaded it.
-
Weird, I can't reach it from my home connection.

Yep won't load in either. I can ping delldock.com just fine but it won't load. I can load the site just fine though by remoting into my server.

sorry for the noob question, but is there any way to get this for a non-Dell computer? I really like the idea of this program.

As for running Dell Dock on your machine, I don't think it's possible. Some on here have reported that the installer checks certain files (people who know for sure: Does it check the BIOS somehow?) to see if your machine is a Dell. I would test it out on another machine, but I'm at Uni. so my Dell is my only computer right now. -
out of curiosity, why would one download "Dell Dock" as opposed to "Objectdock"? The underlying technology is the same and objectdock is better featured, even in the free version

I just tried this. It says to add shortcuts you can just drag it into the dock. It's not working. Unless I'm doing something wrong.
haha nevermind. I had to restart the dock. -
