Yesterday, when I try to shrink one of my drive partitions for resizing my C drive and accidentally formatted this partition. All the stored videos of my school now are lost. But, they are really precious for me. Do you know how I can rescue them back? Help me, please!

Recuva is the one I had used before that was easiest.

I've used GetDataBack and it didn't do a good job at file recovery. I now use Killdisk Undelete it is better program and works better at file recovery. It's a paid program but then again in file recovery sometimes a more expensive program give you more recovery options.

To improve your chances to recovery a formatted partition remove the HDD and attached it to a USB adapter and use another computer to recovery the data if you try to use it as the main your chances of getting your data back drops drastically and you won't get any data back. So take out the HDD and use a USB adapter and plug to another working computer with something like KillDisk Undelete and use that to restore the formatted partition back so you can recovery your data if possible. But this program will need to do a long scan to be able to recovery your data back so be prepared for it to do a long scan before it can give you the options to recover the data or partition to get your data back.
