I have an HP 6768se and I downgraded from Vista for a performance increase. As you can probably guess, I can't find any drivers and I can not even locate what type of motherboard I have. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Has anyone else had this problem and fixed it? I really don't want to go back to Vista now. I appreciate any help.

Ask for help on the HP board. I would wager you are just out of luck, because HP released that laptop with Vista and won't bother writing drivers for XP.
