If anyone can solve my CPU whine problem ( subject to my satisfaction) on my brand new gateway Laptop (ID49C01h), you will be rewarded with 35$.

Right, now the usual tricks of "RUN HLT COMMAND" will not work because RMclock, even with this signed driver mod for win x64 ( http://www.flipfire.net/download/rtcore64.zip) doesn't seem to have much going for it - I don't think it supports modern CPUs like Core i3.

I need software that will allow C-State control, or anything that can resolve CPU whine.

Answered in your other thread. For your Core i series, you'll have to buy CPUGenie (cheap and similar to RMClock).

I'm not sure if it does exactly what you want or if it supports HLT but you can try Throttlestop
