Need a bulk mailing freeware application

NO, its NOT what it looks like. Im no spammer.

Need to send out an email to 800+ contacts to let them know im up&running again. ( need to get food on the table asap )

I know Office Outlook 2007 wont do the job.
So I wanted to make like a newsletter of some kind to mail with a special application? Im planning to send them out at 50 per time.

After some googlin' I came across this piece of goodlooking software: www.sendblaster.com

But being that i found that one in no time I figured that there must be something even better out there.

if you have a webhost there are a lot of good server based mass email applications like phplist, but there are not too many clients out there. In addition to send blaster, there is Maillist King.

There are also a number of services that will do this on a one time basis, which might be worth considering. Sending out 800 emails from your pop server is a good way to get you flagged as a spammer whether you are or not.

You could probably use outlook still by creating a series of group lists. For example, you could create 26 groups (one for each letter of alphabet) in about 5 minutes (create a group list and search for a* then select all the contacts that begin with A and add them to your group, then repeat with each letter)
