    Need a bandwith monitoring software.

    That must work on Vista X64. Wireless support is really important too but not mandatory. Linux support would rock. It's mainly to monitor my bro's computer, because I often get big surprises when I check my bandwith statistic at my ISP's page (20GB cap each month).

    I've seen some up to date but none worked with Vista x64, except one that needs to connect to a server....

    EDIT: No need for linux, the built-in monitoring shows the kB downloaded and no only packets like in Windows.

    I can't say for sure if Bandwidth Monitor will run on Vista 64-bit (it does say "full Vista support" in some of their update notes), but if it does it's a very neat and detailed little program - though not free after a 30 day trial period ($19.95).
