Hi, I have an old computer that came with Windows installed, but no disk. (bought it used). Now I'd like to reformat it. Is there a simple, inexpensive way to obtain a windows disk?

Any windows disk (non-OEM) will work as long as you have a license key. Typically you'll get restore disks or a restore partition to use when reformatting. Check on that.

I'd go to a computer store. Not a big company like COMPUSA or BestBuy, but a little small business. Both of the ones near me have lots of old disks with keys for cheap!

I think Cyndi has a key, it should be a sticker on the bottom of the IBM. If not, I would try Newegg/another computer store. On major software you won't get big discounts unless it's pirated somehow.
