Alright so i had to change my R4 from raid to ACHI to install my new SSD (Dell decided to have raid enabled with only one drive -_-) So now since i ahev switched to ACHI instead of raid the drive will no longer boot and i didn't save the notpad info into a word doc. Is there a way to salvage it? I tried doing a search for "note" and didn't find anything promising

Thanks for the help..really need the info off of it.

When searching, search for the .txt extension instead of the name of the file (I hope I understood what you're asking). If it was saved via notepad, by default it should have been saved as a .txt file.

    Look in
    %AppData%\Microsoft\Sticky Notes\
    And recover the stickynotes.snt file.
Paste it in the same location on your new windows installation (and replace if a new file has been created) and start stikynot from Run...
