Ok here's the problem, I was working on a school assignement with a partner, I recieved his portion via email(Gmail) i opened it(i did not save it)
I worked on it for several hours and then i pressed SAVE. then closed it. Now i cant find it. Where would i go to look for it. (this has happened in the past 5 min)
i have not deleted anythign so i assume it has to be somehwere. I went to temp and didnt find any .ppt files and i keep using search and cant find the file. waht is the problem? or did i screw myself?

Or you can try, open wordpad - select file - then select&open( open file) - select my recent documents and search by recent date. I hope you may find your file.

AppData is a hidden folder under Windows, you will have to enable the Show Hidden Folder box in Explorer via Organise>Folder Options.
